A beautiful and courageous woman, Deanna Adams Reine, succumbed to pancreatic cancer on March 3, 2022, slipping away in her daughter's arms, surrounded by those she loved.
For over a year, Deanna fiercely fought cancer with her granddaughter Alicia walking by her side.
Deanna was an avid yogi, hairdresser, gardener, seamstress and sailor. She was a force of nature, and her passions were always linked to creation and creativity. Her ability to grow and transform beauty from basics was a remarkable gift.
Anyone who was blessed to have known Dee will agree she was a strong and determined woman.
Deanna is survived by her son, Jeffrey Reine (Cheryl), daughter, Maria Plaisance, grandchildren, Alicia (Jamie), Joshua, Austin (Camrynn), great grandchildren, Kourtney, Kaden, Nick and Matt, sister, Rosabell Berger (late Billy), brother, Aubrey Adams, Jr. (Mary), her dear friend for over 50 years, Myra Perrin and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Rose Guidry Adams, Aubrey Pete Adams and sister, Evelyn Jacksina (Dutch).
Deanna attended Holy Name of Mary, Martin Behrman High School and was a graduate of Ruiz Beauty College.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 8968 Hwy 23, Belle Chasse, LA. Visitation will take place at the church from 10:00 am until funeral time.
