SUNNYSIDE - Our loving wife, mother, and dear friend, Carolyn Mae Nelson Jones, age 75, passed away peacefully in her home on April 18, 2023 with her beloved husband of 58 years by her side. She was born March 31, 1948 in Dragerton, Utah to Elvis Lester and Minnie M. Bray Nelson. She married the love of her life, Tommy Carl Jones, in Elko, Nevada on July 29, 1967.
Carolyn had many hobbies including bowling and swimming. She was an avid fisherman especially, at Utah Lake. She loved riding her Harley with Tom every time he went out. Carolyn especially loved her dogs Scooter and Chopper like they were her children. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survived by her loving husband, Tom Jones; son, Tommy Jones; dear friend, Jerrilynn Tonne; many other loving friends. Preceded in death by her father, Elvis Lester Nelson; mother, Minnie Mae Nelson; brother, Charles Nelson; sister, Netha Sue Nelson MacPherson; two dogs, Scooter and Chopper.
Funeral service, Thursday, April 27, 2023, 2:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home.
