Linda Kay (Allen) Donnell, 60, of the Clayton community died April 1, 2008, at Volunteer Community Hospital in Martin.
Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will follow in Fremont Cemetery near Union City. Friends may call at the funeral home 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be church friends and honorary pallbearers will be members of Calvary Independent Baptist Church near Samburg.
She was born March 30, 1948, in Henry County, daughter of the late James and Mary Kathryn Allen. She was raised by her foster parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Crews. She married Jere Donnell Jan. 11, 1985. He survives. She had been an employee of the former Brown Shoe Co. in Union City for 20 years and was a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church. Survivors also include her daughter, Kathy Overcast of Paris; her son, David Wade Jr. of Paris; four grandchildren, Dustin Baker, Cynthia Baker and Jeremy Sutton, all of Paris, and Ryann Sutton of Indiana; two great-grandchildren from Indiana; and her sister, Carolyn Triller of Memphis.
