Linda (Fiacco) Castrello, 77, of Syracuse, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023. She was born in Potsdam, NY to the late Peter A. and Pauline (Bisson) Fiacco. She spent her childhood in Norwood, NY and then called Syracuse her home for 50 years where she lovingly raised her two sons and twin daughters.

Family always came first, but Linda also dedicated 35 years to volunteering and working at St. Daniel Church. Linda adored cooking for family and friends, though, she rarely ate much of it herself. She enjoyed talking with people and watching soap operas, but above all, she treasured her 4 children and 10 grandchildren. These joys in her life were all shared with her late husband, Louis. Linda and Louis were married for 44 wonderful years before his death in 2018. Linda's generosity and dedication to the Catholic Church was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be missed beyond words and held dear in our hearts forever.

In addition to her parents and husband, Linda is predeceased by her daughter-in-law, Melissa and her brother, Thomas Fiacco.

She is survived by her children, Anthony (Renee) Castrello, Louis Castrello, Danielle (Jim) Ferns, and Denise (Dan) Becker; her 10 marvelous grandchildren, Nicholas (Amanda) Castrello, Matthew Castrello, Marlee Pontello, Anthony Pontello, James Ferns, Jr., Emily Ferns, Sophia Ferns, Caitlin Becker, Benjamin Becker, and Giada Castrello; her siblings, R. Joseph (Dianne) Fiacco and Bernadette (Terry) Graves; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

A funeral Mass in celebration of Linda's life will be held at 6:30 P.M. on Monday, July 31, 2023 at St. Rose of Lima Church. Family and friends may call from 3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. on Monday, July 31, 2023 in the Kennedy Room at St. Rose of Lima Church, North Syracuse.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carol Baldwin Breast Cancer Research at www.thebaldwinfund.org/donate.
