VINT, Michael, age 93 of Tipp City, formerly of Englewood, passed away Saturday March 29, 2008. Mr. Vint was born in Duluth, Minnesota, September 4, 1914, retired from McCalls, a member of St. Christopher Church, a U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II, a member of American Legion Post # 79 in Newport Richey, Florida & presently a member of American Legion Post # 586 in Tipp City. Survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Patricia & Michael McFarland; 3 grandchildren, Jill, Chris & Jeff (Rhonda) Powell; 3 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Caplinger & Margaret Mahan; sisters-in-law, Terri Vint & Esther Schuler; brother-in-law, Charles Schuller and a host of other relatives & friends. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Thursday at St. Christopher Church, Vandalia. Father Frank Keferl, celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5-8 P.M. Wednesday at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "North Dayton Chapel", 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road with further viewing 10:30 A.M. Thursday until time of Mass at the Church. If desired, memorials may be made to Hospice of Montgomery County.
