HUSBAND, 75, DIES SOON AFTER WIFE
CHURUBUSCO - Chauncey C. Baughman, 75, retired Noble County farmer, died at 2 p.m. Monday in the Whitley County Hospital, Columbia City, less than 24 hours after the death of his wife, Bessie, 72, also in the hospital. Surviving the couple are a daughter, Mrs. Ruth Engle, R.R. 4 Columbia City; two sons, John and Gene E. , both of Churubusco; nine grandchildren. Mr. Baughman is also survived by a brother and two sisters and Mrs. Baughman is survived by three brothers. The bodies are at the Krider Funeral Home. Friends may call until noon on Thursday when they will be taken to the Burr Oak Baptist Church for double rites at 2 p.m. Interment will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery, near Merriam.
