Margaret was the daughter of the renown Methodist Minister, Albert Edmund Burrows, and Louisa Elizabeth McCraney. 1900 finds the family in Mt Vernon, Skagit, Washington. By 1910 the family was settled in Youngstown, Mahoning, Ohio. She attended South High School, then went on to Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio. Peg and Mark eloped 28 Dec 1917, and had a formal wedding 7 Jan 1918 at the parsonage. Peg returned to Union College where she served as a resident adviser in a dorm and then moved in with her sister, Frances; both were students at the college. Mark was sent overseas with the US Army serving in France during WWI. After his discharge in Aug 1919, they settled in Youngstown. In 1920 and 25 Robert and Janice were born. By 1929 they were in Bucyrus, Crawford, Ohio; home was a busy place; Mark's doctor's office was in their home. Margaret was on the committee to host the 39th annual convention of Ohio branch, International Order of the King's Daughters and Sons at the Methodist Church. After Jun 1937 the family moved to Hollywood, California to help Peg's parents; they stayed. They bought a home (that in 1950 was across the street from Roy Rogers & Dale Evans where grandchildren used to play when visiting their Grandfather.) Contracting cancer, which took her life on 12 May 1944, Margaret was cremated; on the 15th a funeral service was held at the Hollywood Chapel of Pierce Bros Funeral Home, officiating was Rev Glenn R Phillips, head minister, Hollywood Methodist Church.
