REMEMBRANCE: "Your spirit lives on. Your acts of goodness, life-long lessons you taught me through your love and strength, will never be forgotten."

Elmer Hospital, Elmer, NJ - May 13,1979 Mother's Day.....

She had great strength and deep rooted southern faith. She was certainly the sweetest mom. She was in the hospital, just had lots of tests done. Mom loved getting gifts. While opening her present, she said,"read the card to me." Starting reading the Mother's Day card to her, stopped and asked her if the test results came back. Mom answered: "yes they did, and I do have cancer. At that moment, I threw down the card and started crying. My mom looked at me with her stern look and said "You best pick-up that card and finish reading it. No time for acting like that." ... My mom passed away about six week later. HE must of thought I was so special to have given me a mom like her.
God Knew all the things that a mother should be -- understanding and thoughtful and wise, with infinite patience, with insight and kindness, and laughter to shine in her eyes. So He took all these things and He gave them to you. He made you more dear than all others. So these wishes for happiness come with much love...to the best and sweetest of Mom's.

I love you, your daughter
