OBITUARY :
MRS. LYDIA KATE, wife of John B. Crout, of Rouzerville, died Friday night at 11:15 o'clock of cancer of the liver and pancreas. She had been ill for over a year and bedfast since early last March. Five weeks ago she returned from the local hospital where she underwent an operation for gallstones. She was 62 years of age.

Mrs. Crout is survived by her husband and three children: Mrs. Mary Sheffler, at the home of her parents; Mrs. Roy Sease, Beaver Creek, Md., and John Crout, Hagerstown, and ten grandchildren, also these brothers and sisters: David and Thomas of Rouzerville; Mrs. Frank Addlesberger, Ringgold, Md., and John Creager, of Buena Vista.

She was the daughter of Henry S. and Hannah (Brooks) Creager, deceased, and was born in Rouzerville, where she spent her life time, except several years residence in Baltimore. She was a member of the Brethren church at Rouzerville for 22 years.

Funeral Monday afternoon in the Brethren church following a short service at the house at 3:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. H. M. Stover and Rev. Walter West, and burial in the graveyard at the Harbaugh Reformed church. Friends and relatives are invited to the funeral.
