The Democrat,, Senatobia, Mississippi, May 2, 2006: Paul Daniel, 65, of Phillip, Miss. passed away Thursday, April 20, (2006) at the V.A. Medical Center in Memphis, Tenn. Services were held at Pate-Jones Funeral Home with burial at Senatobia Memorial Cemetery. Mr. Daniel served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War. He was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was an avid outdoorsman. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.

Mr. Daniel is survived by a daughter, Melodie Martin of Independence, Miss.; two sons, John Christopher Daniel of Independence, Miss. and Michael Daniel of Hobbs, N.M.; two sisters, Janice Lance and Rita Wolfe, both of Senatobia, Miss.; and an aunt, Lucille Hood of Phillip, Miss. He was blessed with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and one great-grandson.
