Briggsville Burial Ground was granted by Stephen Wilmarth
"The broken monument" seen on his memorial, in 1724 was "Erected to the Memory of the early settlers of the towns of Rehoboth and Attleborough", some of whom are named. Although Thomas Wilmarth is not named on the monument, he is an early settler of Attleborough, and I have taken the liberty to honor him here as one of the "early settlers" the monument memorializes.
