Survivors include her husband, Jimmie L. Beene; son and daughter-in-law, James D. & Nancy Beene, Cabot, AR; grandchildren, Todd Ashley Beene & his wife, LaCosta, and Chad Lee Beene & his wife, Amanda, all of Vilonia, AR; great-grandchildren, Taylor Beene, Parker Lee Beene, & Abigail Beene, and a sister, Carolyn Fiser, Alexander, AR. Mrs. Beene was preceded in death by her parents, Grant & Rue (Hendrix) Ashley. She was a retired school teacher for the Pulaski County School District. Interment followed funeral services conducted Monday, January 2, 2006.
