Mr. Joe Granger Died July Fourth
Mr. Joe Granger died July 4th. Funeral services were held at Thomaston, conducted by the pastor of the first Methodist Church at Thomaston. His remains were laid to rest in the Kendrick Cemetery three miles north of Zebulon. Mr. Granger is survived by one daughter by his first marriage and several grandchildren, five by his second wife, Mrs. Pearl Pilkenton Granger; three sisters, Mrs. W.A. Kendrick, of Zebulon; Mrs. Branton, of Griffin, Mrs. Barker of Florida. Mr. Granger lived most his life in different parts the Pike county where he leaves many friends who will be sad to hear of his going.
