OBITUARY
George Blanchard died Tuesday, January 2, 1923. He was born July 4, 1845, at York State, Vermont and served in the Union Army during the Civil War.
He was married to Miss Milisa McGee, October 27, 1872, at Iola, Kansas. To this union were born five children, only two sons and one daughter survive him.
He and his wife were members of the Methodist Church at Iola. His wife died at Geneve, Kansas in 1881.
Mr. Blanchard was married to Miss Clara Sanders, November 29, 1883.
His children who survive him are Jessie B. Blanchard of Preston, Missouri, Alva C. Blanchard of Enid, and Mrs. Flossie Washburn of Enid.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Rader-Walker Funeral Home, Rev. A. G. Smith, officiating. Rev. Smith will be assisted by members of the local G.A.R. post.
