Livermore's Jane Priscilla Lee dies Friday after long illness
A Memorial service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon in Livermore for Jane Priscilla Lee of Livermore, 83, whose granddaughter and two great-grandchildren live in Tracy.
She died Friday in Valley Memorial Hospital in Livermore after a long illness.
A native of Overton, Neb., Mrs. Lee had lived in Eureka before moving to Livermore in 1962. She had been an employee of the Livermore McDonalds, where she was known as the "God bless you woman," a phrase she said to all customers.
In Livermore, Mrs. Lee was a member of the First Baptist Church, Livermore Women's Bowling Association and Livermore Senior Citizens. She had been a volunteer at the Livermore Veterans Administration Medical Center. She was also a life member of the Auxiliary to Tracy Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1537.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Machado of Livermore; a granddaughter, Jan James of Tracy; and two great-grandchildren, Chad and Stacey James, both of Tracy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Toralf W. Lee, and a son.
Wednesday's memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. at the Livermore First Baptist Church, 2021 College St., Livermore. Inurnment will be in Eureka.
