Jo Nell Brooks McNew, 78, of Fort Payne, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Allen Memorial Baptist Church and worked for many years at Brown's Cleaners.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Crow officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Payton McNew Camp and husband Gavin; brothers, Waylon Brooks and Bruce Brooks.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles McNew, son Scott McNew, daughter Robbe McNew Kean; parents, Roy E. and Josie Brooks; and brothers, Roy Brooks, Jr., Rayford Brooks, and Hershel Brooks.
