June was born on June 13, 1938, in Butler, to the late Chester Williams and Betty (Farmer) Edinger.
On May 18, 1958, June married her husband, Mervyn "Pete" Boyle III, and they made their home in Meridian. June dedicated her professional life to clerical work, notably as a secretary for Armco, and her family life as a homemaker.
June was a compassionate, loving and loyal woman full of creativity. She found immense joy in her hobbies; singing, music and oil painting, as well as floral arranging and gardening, a testament to her creative spirit. She was an active member of the Butler Assembly of God Church, where she served as a board member, Sunday school teacher, and event coordinator. Her dedication to her faith and community was a shining example of her commitment to service.
June's legacy of love and dedication continues in those she leaves behind; her loving husband, Mervyn "Pete" Boyle III; her children, Steven (Audrey) Boyle, Susan (Michael) Macko, Heather (Tommy) Carter; her siblings, John Edinger, Deborah Williams, Jody (Denny) Polen; her cherished 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, June was preceded in death by her brothers Larry Williams, Rodney Williams and George Edinger; as well as her son, Robin Boyle.
BOYLE - Friends and family of Betty "June" Boyle, who died Thursday, July 13, 2023, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Butler Assembly of God Church, 105 Purvis Road, Butler, with the Rev. George Miller officiating.
A private burial will then take place at Butler County Memorial Park.
