John C. CROWNOVER BURIED FRIDAY
Funeral services for John Clarence Crownover, 79, were held at White Church last Friday afternoon at 2:30 with Willis Creager, pastor of the Colorado Church of Christ, in charge. Internment was made in the White Church cemetery, with G. W. Hendrick in charge of arrangements.
J. C. Crownover was born in Dallas County, Texas December 22, 1857. He moved to Loraine in 1928 and lived in the community for three years, then moved to Oklahoma. He moved back to the Loraine community in October 1935, and was living on the Prude Ranch at the time of his death.
He is survived by his wife, Ada and three children. The children are James H. and Alton C. Crownover and Mrs. P. P. Hayes, all of whom live in the Loraine community.
