ISSUE - Isabella and her husband Alexander were to be buried at the cemetery in Elora per their death records. Their names are not on the Cemetery Transcript on file at the Wellington County Museum and Archives. I will make inquiries. Check back for an update.

Isabella McKenzie was the daughter of George McKenzie and Ann (McKay) McKenzie.


About her parents:

  • George died Feb 15, 1894 at Elora, Ontario per the Ontario death record. He was a farmer. The informant of death was Alex Kerr of Elora who was a 'Butcher' (Alex was Isabella's husband). No burial information on the death record.
  • Death record for Ann not found but the John Connon book (source below) reads she died on March 31, 1892.
