Charles Edward Bridges was born July 7, 1940 in Red Bay, AL to Bilbo and Rosie Robertson Bridges. He passed away July 12, 2023 at his home in Caraway, AR at the age of 83.

Mr. Bridges was retired from American Greetings and a member of Nodena Baptist Church in Wilson, AR.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Shirley Bridges, his beloved companion Cookie, one daughter Sally Bridges, three brothers Ralph Bridges, Jimmy Lee Bridges and Eddie Bridges and his sister and brother-in-law Sue and Roy Hunt.

He is survived by two daughters Saneita (Jeff) Rea of Caraway, AR and Regina (Al) Lunsford of Black Oak, AR, two sons Jeff Bridges and Jackie Bridges of Wilson, AR, one sister Diane Hamilton of Tennessee, nine grandchildren Chaney (Bradley) Tucker, Darrin (Michael) Brown, Landen Lunsford, Allie Lunsford, Lathe Lunsford, Laci Lunsford, Brad (Courtney) Lunsford, Cody (Robin) Rea and Dustan Rea and eighteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 6-8 PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 16, 2023 at 2PM at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Mississippi County Memorial Gardens in Osceola with Bro. Al Lunsford officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola, AR will be in charge of the arrangements.
