Brian was born on January 8, 1953, in Marshalltown, Iowa, the son of Alvin and Audrey (Dickson) Henze. He graduated from Nevada High School in 1971 and was a lifelong resident of Nevada. Brian never met a stranger. He was always telling jokes and laughing. Brian enjoyed spending time in the Henze timber with his family and friends.
Brian is survived by his daughters, Beth Henze-Smith of Slater and Kyla (Martin) Vitek of Grinnell; his grandchildren, Jack Thomas and Henry Vitek; his brother, Michael Henze of Nevada; his sisters, Kathy Gracey of Burlington, Marcia Romero of Douglassville, Pennsylvania, and Susie Lodestein of Nevada; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his infant son, Joseph Alexander Henze and his parents, Alvin and Audrey Henze.
