Rose Ann Alexander Snyder, 72, of Gulfport, our beloved mother, sister, Meemaw, and friend has gone to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 19, 2009 in Gulfport. She was born August 20, 1937 in Hattiesburg and resided in Gulfport for most of her life.

She started her banking career in 1966 and retired from Hancock Bank as a proof/deposit operator in August 1999 and was a member of Bel-Aire Baptist Church. She will be sadly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William B. Alexander and Thelma A. Bass Alexander; a daughter, Kimberly Gail Snyder; two brothers, Clarence A. Alexander and Frank E. Alexander; and her ex-husband, Wilburt C. Snyder, Sr.

She is survived by two daughters, Pamela Snyder (Richard) Moseley and Charleigh Farish; two sons, Wilburt C. Snyder, Jr. and David R. Snyder; and niece Shawn Buchanan; a sister, Constance A. Alexander, all of Gulfport; two brothers, Charles A. (Jan) Alexander of Long Beach, and Jerry S. Alexander (Debbie) of Decatur, IL; five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren; sixteen nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home. O'Neal Road, Gulfport where friends may visit beginning at 10:30 a.m.
