Gary Doyle Bryant
June 27, 1951 - July 11, 2023

Gary Doyle Bryant passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 36 years by his side on July 11, 2023 at the age of 72. Gary was a resident of Memphis, formerly of Marianna, AR.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, his parents Cleo and Mary Janice as well as his brother Steve and sister Debbie.

Gary was a hardworking man who never met a stranger. His career paths varied from Army National Guard, to butcher, to car salesman and to owning his own tree company until retirement after a vehicle accident in 2019. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoorsman and enjoyed nothing more than being surrounded by family and friends. Gary was a salesman of all things and made friends wherever he went. His family knew that going somewhere with him meant many delays for him to chat with folks he knew or met along the way. Gary was always in search for a deal and once tried to convince his daughter to get married at the cemetery as it was cheap and already had flowers as well as landscaping.

Gary showed his family how to love, how to work, how to manage their finances, how to take calculated risks, and how to pack the most into a day. He was a Christian, an entrepreneur, a husband, a father, a loved PawPaw and a friend who will be greatly missed.

Funeral Services for Gary will be conducted on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Family will receive friends for visitation starting at 1:00pm until the service. Entombment will follow in Memorial Park Mausoleum.
