Ewell Lee Jackson, 86, of Russellville, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Dardanelle Nursing Home in Dardanelle. He was born May 19, 1937, in Agnos to the late Hubert Lee and Ora (Moore) Jackson. Ewell was a truck driver and retired from Pat Salmon & Sons as a contract mail carrier. He was baptized into the Church of Christ.

In addition to his parents, Ewell was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Jackson.

He is survived by his wife, Judy of the home; daughters, Barbara Madden of Russellville and Cheryl Taylor (Drew) of Sherwood; brothers, Doile Jackson (Jean) of Paragould, Direl Jackson of Michigan, and Dale Jackson of Salem; grandchildren, Ross Davidson (JoLeigh), Andrew Taylor (Allison); great-grandchildren, Boston and AdLeigh Davidson

Graveside services will be Friday, July 14, 2023, at 11 a.m. in Agnos Cemetery in Agnos. Mike Yates will officiate. All arrangements are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Drew Taylor, Andrew Taylor, Ross Davidson, Doile Jackson, Terry Jackson, and James Abney.
