She lived a fulfilling life as a mother, wife, sister and grandparent. Mary loved to garden, paint and cook. She was an avid history buff and loved to read anything on the subject. Her greatest joys in life, were her three grandchildren, miniature dachshunds, and feeding the neighborhood squirrels and raccoons.
She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Newton and Linda Steward of Colorado. Her grandchildren, Amber Meadows of Indiana, Kayla Steward and Michael Newton of Colorado and 4 great grandsons. She is also survived by her sister Betty Atkins of Mt. Juliet, TN, brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe A. Bolton, mother Mary L. Rye and father Jessie L. Rye.
In keeping with her nature, funeral services are private and for immediate family and friends only.
