Patricia Gayle "Pat" Hallmark, age 78, of Henderson, KY, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh, IN. Born on April 1, 1945 in Henderson, Kentucky.
Pat always met friends, not strangers. Once she knew you, you became a fast friend. Pat loved to cook and keep her family well fed. Most often, she would put other's needs before her own. Pat was a caregiver by nature and by trade. Once she retired, she focused all of her love and attention on her grandbabies as they were her greatest joy.
In addition to her parents James and Florence Wyleen Septer, Pat was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Hallmark, mother Marie Septer, beloved sister Donna Abell, and brother Mike Septer.
She is survived by her daughter Karen Profitt and husband Paul of Robards, KY; son Tommy Hallmark and wife Angie of Robards, KY; sisters: Donna Stanley of Slaughters, KY, Judy Guttschalk of Florida, Shirley Henderson of Owensboro, KY, and Linda Crowder of Henderson, KY; brother Rodney Septer of Henderson, KY; grandchildren: Aaron Hallmark and Nick Hallmark (Alex); great-granddaughter Autumn Hallmark, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to Pat's Life Celebration from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and from 10:00 a.m. until the service time on Friday at Benton-Glunt & Tapp Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2023, at the funeral home with Reverend Bret Eblen officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Robards, KY.
