Saira was the daughter of Joel Medina-Nambo and Wendy George-Medina. She passed away in a car accident.

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.The family said she was a shy girl with a very strong spirit. She loved her long hair and enjoyed styling it. She liked to draw and was very cuddly. She liked to be called "angel blueberry."

In addition to her father, now living in Mexico City, Saira is survived by a younger sister, Mia Medina-George of McMinnville; a grandfather, Froilan Bermudez of Los Angeles; grandparents, Martha George de Resendiz of McMinnville, Angela Nambo of Mexico City, Jose Havier Medina of Mexico City; and a great-grandmother, Maria Acevedo of Colima, Mexico. In addition to her mother, her older sister, Soraya Medina-George, died with her in the accident.
