Grant County News---March 6, 2008
Emma Rogers Johnson, 82, of Melbourne, died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Valley Chapel Church in Silver Grove.
Survivors include her husband, Rev. Walker Franklin Johnson; sons, Dennis Johnson of Highland Heights, Richard Johnson and Charles Johnson, both of Alexandria, Ronald Johnson and Phillip Johnson, both of Melbourne; daughters, Virginia Gamble of Dry Ridge, Jane Bay of Dayton, Lisa Arrowood of Cold Spring and Laura Zumwalt of Latonia; a brother, Dewey Rogers of Brooksville; a sister, Ailene Hatton of Newport; twenty-eight grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held March 7 at Cooper Funeral Home in Alexandria. Burial was in Butler Cemetery.
