BRIAN THOMAS B URNS, 42, of Dupo, Illinois, born February 27, 1975, in Centreville, Illinois, died Sunday, March 12, 2017 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, Missouri.

Brian was employed as a carpenter and also did mechanic work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Rosemary, nee Steinheimer, Burns; two brothers, Richard Taylor and Mark Burns; a sister, Rebecca Richardson; and a nephew, Roberto Vinluan.

Surviving are his fiance', Tina Dixon; a daughter, Madison; his siblings, Judy (Cliff) Meddows of Fairview Heights, IL, Donna (Ted) Bickl of Cahokia, IL; Johnny (Clara) Taylor, Sr. of Marissa, IL, Charles Adams of Belleville, IL, Sheila Stein of Dupo, IL, and Rose (Cindy) Burns of O'Fallon, IL; and a brother-in-law, Dean Richardson of New Athens, IL. He was a dear uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Friends may call from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at Braun Colonial Funeral Home, Cahokia, Illinois. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the funeral home, with Father Paul Wienhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter's United Church of Christ Cemetery, Lenzburg, Illinois.
