Frank J. "Butch" Bajer III, age 72, of Mart, passed away Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at his residence.
A rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West, with visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m. Memorial Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2023 at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Timothy Vaverek officiating.
Frank was born March 7, 1951 in Waco, the son of Catherine (Flaherty) and Frank J. Bajer Jr. He was a 1969 graduate of Abbott High School. He was a founding member of Knights of Columbus Council #7202 in Bellmead. He worked in construction-related jobs most of his life. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing dominoes.
Frank is preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Bajer; and a sister, Marilyn Bajer.
Survivors include his children, Frank J. Bajer IV and wife Brenda of Waco, Crystal Mire and husband Scott of Crowley, LA, and Brandi Bajer and husband Lee Green of Haslet; his grandchildren, Zachary Sowers, Spencer Bajer, and Hattie Mire; his great grandchildren, Jazzete and Zoee Sowers; a sister, Linda Kaluza and husband Ronnie; a brother, David Bajer and wife Cathy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mart Volunteer Fire Department or to the Waco Advocacy Center for Crime Victims & Children.
