Jack E. Denoe, 71, formerly of Hillsboro, died on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, in Savannah, Ga., after a tragic car accident.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 4265 SW Golf Course Road, Cornelius. Internment will take place at the church's cemetery.
Denoe moved from Hillsboro to Savannah 13 years ago after retiring from General Electric Corporation. While with GE, he worked in several states and other countries.
Survivors include his wife Patty Williams, mother Gladys Phaneulef, sister Shirley Charlton of Baltimore, Md.; children Jeff Denoe, Julie Denoe and Jennifer Evans; and grandchildren Jessica, David and Joshua, all of Chicago.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 44 years, Joan M. (Furby) Denoe.
Memorials may be sent to the Good Shepard Home of the West or St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery Fund.
