He was born Aug. 28, 1930, in Bluff City to Benjamin and Mary Dixon Sackman.
Surviving are one brother, Leonard (and Betty) of Peoria; and one sister, Verna Maxwell of Rushville.
He was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
He was a farmer.
He was of the Protestant faith.
Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery in Browning.
