Mt. Sterling – Mrs. Helen Glasgow, 83, widow of James D. Glasgow of Mt. Sterling, died at 5 a.m. Wednesday in Schmitt hospital at Beardstown.
Mrs. Glasgow was born in Brown county May 14, 1886, daughter of George and Frances Irwin Chamberlain. She married Mr. Glasgow November 11, 1920. He preceded her in death in 1965.
A brother, Roland Chamberlain, and two sisters, Mae Reynolds and Edith Clark, all of Mt. Sterling, survive. Three brothers preceded the deceased in death.
Mrs. Glasgow was a member of the Presbyterian church in Mt. Sterling.
The remains were taken to the Hufnagel Funeral Home, where friends may call until time of the service at 10 a.m. Friday. Rev. Arthur Hughes will officiate. Burial will be at the City cemetery.
