Born on January 06, 1960 in Washington, D.C. to Ida Mae Sublett Clay and the late John Burton Clay. She was a member of the Montcalm Pentecostal of Holiness Church and a resident of Montcalm most of her life.
Survivors include; Her mother: Ida Mae Sublett Clay of Montcalm; husband: Jeffary W. Hicks of Route 2, Rock; one son: Jeffary Wayne Hicks III of the home; two daughters: Christina Lynn Doughty and husband Chris of Montcalm, Amanda Mae Hicks-Neal and husband Jonathan of Montcalm; two sisters: Cindy Clay of Montcalm and Tammy Sullivan of Charlotte, N.C.; five grandchildren: Austin, Elijah, Kameron, Stormy and Kobie.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home in Bluewell with the Rev. Allen Hawley and the Rev. R.C. Turner officiating the service. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bluewell.
Friends and family may call at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home today (Monday), February 25, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Family and friends will be serving as pallbearers.
