Ms. Taylor leaves behind a beloved husband of 62 years: J.W. Taylor of the home; three daughters: Angela Rayborn of Booneville, Arkansas, Loucretia Taylor of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and Abigail Cox of Alma, Arkansas; three granddaughters; five precious great-grandchildren; and one very precious great-great granddaughter.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Ms. Taylor was a Past Worth Matorn of the Order of the Easter Star, and a Past Mother Advisor for the Order of the Rainbow for Girls. Ms. Taylor was an accomplished interior decorator, gourmet cook, prolific quilter, and a master gardener. She was an avid bowler and won many bowling tournaments in Europe and the United States.
A private gravide service was held on Friday, March 28, 2008, at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
