Mrs. Martha Ann Lewis, age 72 of Fayetteville, formerly of Marion, N.C. died on September 9, 2003 at Columbia High Smith-Rainey Memorial Hospital in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Lewis was born on September 5, 1931 in Yancey County and was the daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Lewis and Annie Mae Williams Lewis.
Mrs. Lewis is survived by four sons, Billy Joe Kuykendall of, Meridian, Idaho, Robert Kuykendall of Fayetteville, Dallas Kuykendall of Baltimore, MD and Edward Kuykendall of Fayetteville; one daughter, Deborah Westerfield of Baltimore, MD; one brother, Grover C. Lewis, Jr. of Marion; one sister, Cindy Lou Vaughn of Lenoir and seven grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, September 12, 2003 at 11:00 AM in Westmoreland Chapel with Rev. Walker Toney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Entombment will be in McDowell Memorial Park Mausoleum.
