Funeral services for W. N. Kirby, 63, who died at his home in Kiowa early Friday morning, will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church in Kiowa. Burial will be in the Kiowa Cemetery, under the direction of the Humphrey Funeral Home. The Masonic fraternity will be in charge of services at the graveside. Mr. Kirby was a native of Missouri. He came to this section of Oklahoma at the turn of the century. He married Miss Zada Wilburn at McCurtain on September 24, 1902. Mr. Kirby had lived in Kiowa for 21 years.

W.N. Kirby, 63, of Kiowa, died shortly after 6'oclock this morning after a lingering illness. He was born January 1, 1879 in Missouri and had lived in Kiowa since 1921. Mr. Kirby was a carpenter by profession. Funeral arrangements, as yet incomplete, will be announced later by the Humphrey funeral home. Mr. Kirby was a member of the Baptist church and was prominent in Kiowa Masonic circles. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Zada Kirby; one daughter, Mrs. Jessie Whaley of Los Angeles; three sons, Everett Kirby of Senora, Calif., Earl Kirby of Los Angeles, and F[red] Kirby of Kiowa; one sister, Mrs. Maude Basden of Brooken, Okla.; three brothers, Elmer Kirby** of Kiowa, Lonnie Kirby of Boswell, and Fred Kirby of Quinton, and f[our/five] grandchildren.
