On September 2, 1967, Shari was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Lavrenz in Algona. They were blessed with three children.
Shari was a cosmetologist for many years along with being a daycare provider where she provided child care for many families.
Shari was a faithful member of Holy Family Parish in Emmetsburg, Iowa."
