The Tribune; Scranton, PA; Tuesday, 21 Feb 1984; Page 9, Colum 3: "Mrs. Donvito -- Mrs. Sarah M. Donvito, 202 Nichols St., Clarks Summit, died Monday in Mercy Hospital after an illness. She was the wife of William Donvito. The couple recently celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary. -- Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sadie Ra(t)chford Sweeney. She resided in Clarks Summit for 21 years and was formerly of Scranton. A graduate of Scranton Technical High School, she had been employed by the Giant Markets in the meat department for several years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Snows Roman Catholic Church, Clarks Summit, and its Women's Guild. -- Also surviving are two sons, (names omitted) both of the home; a daughter, (name omitted) Scranton; two sisters, Mrs. Marcelius (Mary) Marcinkus, and Mrs. James (Ann) Marcinkus, both of Pleasant Mount; three brothers, James and Joseph, both of Scranton; Eugene, Tampa Bay, Fla.; and a granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. -- The funeral will be Thursday from the Jennings-Calvey Funeral Home, 111 Colburn Ave., Clarks Summit with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Snows R.C. Church, Clarks Summit. Interment Abington Hills Cemetery."
