In addition to his beloved wife, Dennis is survived by his son, daughter, granddaughters, great-grandchildren, brother, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brothers, Wilney, Kenneth, Stanley, Vernon, Gene, Donald, and Melvin Braddy.
Dennis attended First Baptist Church of Woodlawn. He was a member of the American Legion and a Charter Member of the WWII Museum. Dennis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
A Visitation will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Alan Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens in Woodlawn, Illinois. Full Military Honors will be conducted at the cemetery by the American Legion Post #141. Memorials may be made in Dennis' honor to Disabled American Veterans (DAV).
