Born to Charlie and Thelma "Grace" Vinson Minor Perkins, she went to school at Fairview in Lamar County. At the age of 16, she married Mid Haney and they move to Columbus, Ms.

She was employed at a company "Bosch" and had a Son, Gary and a Daughter Becky. After her daughter, Becky, died at the age of 8, due to heart failure during surgery, she had an extremely hard time. After she turned 40, she received blessed news that she was pregnant and gave birth to a daughter Tammy.

She enjoyed a fulfilled life full of love for family, friends, and anyone she met and was always willing to help when she could. She loved her church and her family and she loved Jesus most of all. You could tell because she showed the love of Jesus to everyone she met.

She had the most beautiful smile and her laughter was so contagious - you couldn't help but join her.

Her life came to an end when she came down with cancer and it finally took this love of our lives from us. She is buried beside her beloved daughter Becky.
