Deborah Crease McLaughlin, born 15 September 1919 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the only child to Orlando Crease, Jr. and Rachel Keator Crease, was a direct descendant of John and Betty More's Jean line. She was raised at Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania where her father was the owner and operator of a farm. Deborah relocated with her mother to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania about 1930 where her father joined them and they resided with her widowed maternal grandmother. She graduated from Germantown Friends High School in 1937 where she was a member of Glee Club and Operetta. Deborah married to Marcellus Hood McLaughlin, Jr. on 31 July 1943 at Germantown, Pennsylvania. This marriage ended in divorce before 1950. They had no children. Deborah resided with her mother at Philadelphia until, about 1993, when she relocated to Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania and then East Falls, Pennsylvania. Deborah died at this place on 6 November 2003. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of Merion Cricket Club. A Mass of Requiem was held at Saint James the Less Episcopal Church at Philadelphia.
