She was born October 29, 1948 in Marble Hill, Missouri the daughter of the late Norman and Ada (Upton) Barks. On September 2, 1967 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Paul Vaughan who preceded her in death on July 31, 2021.

Children, Michele Enderle of Kaiser, MO; Kimberly Loving (Brook) of Beechgrove, TN; Joseph Vaughan (Jincy) of Eldon, MO
Grandchildren, Zachary Loving (Lauren), Cheyanne Loving, Dillon Loving & Alexander Vaughan
Brother, Bill Barks of St. Louis, MO
Sister-in-law, Shirley Barks of Mexico, MO
Along with her husband and parents, a son-in-law, Daniel Enderle, and a brother Kenny Barks preceded her in death.
Carolyn enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, crafting and shopping.
Per her wishes, her body has been cremated and services will be planned at a later date.
