Donna Jean Horne, 78, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008 at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

She was born April 11, 1929 in Topeka, the daughter of J. P. and Bess Zimmerman Elliston.

Donna was a graduate of Topeka High School and Stormont-Vail School of Nursing. Donna was employed for various doctors in Topeka, she later retired from KNI. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.

Donna was married to John L. Horne on November 24, 1948 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on March 18, 1998.

Two daughters Debbie Jacobs and Roxy Wall and a sister Doris Cushman also preceded her in death.

Survivors include; a son John L. Horne, Jr. of St. Joseph, MO, three daughters, Victoria Morson and her husband Paul of Panama City, FL, Cindy Lewis and her husband Lynn of Des Moines, IA and Missy Justice of Topeka, Eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter also survive.

Inurnment will be held Monday March 31, 2008 at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
