Jayci Yaeger Dies After Seeing Imprisoned Father.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- A 10-year-old girl has died, just a day after her wish to see her father was granted.

Jayci Yaeger's imprisoned father, Jason, went to her bedside Wednesday -- a visit federal authorities allowed only after being deluged with letters and phone calls from across the nation.

Obituary: Jayci Riann Yaeger, 10 years old, went home to be with Jesus on Friday (3/28/08). She was a member of the Princeton Countryside Alliance Church, attended Roper Elementary School, a member of the Roper Girl Scout Troop #6, affiliated with Big Brothers/Big Sisters, and was an alumni of camp Quality Heartland. She loved bike riding and dancing.
Survived by: her beloved sisters, Shelby, Anesha, Piper; brother, Corbin; parents, Vonda Yaeger; Jason Yaeger; beloved, Doug Anderson; Kevin Clay; grandparents, Bill and Sherry Snoad; Catherine Yaeger; many aunts, uncles, cousins, close family friends, and her special Big Sister of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Julie.
Services 1 p.m. Tuesday (4/1/08) at Princeton Countryside Alliance Church. Officiant: Rev. Nathan Reckling. Visitation: Sunday (3/30/08) 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Monday (3/31/08) 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (with family Monday 5-8 p.m.) at Butherus,Maser & Love Funeral Home, 4040 A Street; and 1 hour before services at church.
