Alejandro V. Cedillo of Fredericksburg passed away at the age of 77 at his home surrounded by family on June 26th. He was born in Oilton TX on August 31, 1945 to Jose Savas and Clara Vela Cedillo.
He married Nuevemi Borjas on August 31, 1967 in Fredericksburg. He is survived by his wife Nuevemi Cedillo, his children Rachael Schultze of Colorado Springs CO: Eli Cedillo, Feliverto Cedillo and wife Juanita all of Fredericksburg; sister Maria Mirelez of Rio Grande Valley TX, Rosalinda Sanchez of Falfurrias TX; sisters-in-law Hermina and Tony Flores of Fort Worth, Risalda Ortega of Fredericksburg; brothers-in-law Lucio and Janie Borjas of Fredericksburg; 5 grandchildren Angela Schultze of Colorado Springs, Jennifer Holguin and husband Hector, Adam Cedillo, Cheyenne Cedillo and husband Carlos Campa, Silas Cedillo all of Fredericksburg; as well as 9 great grandchildren.
Mr. Cedillo worked for the Allen Keller Company for 47 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents Jose and Clara Cedillo, children Rose Clara Cedillo at 1 year, Florine Cedillo at 1 month and Jose Cedillo at 4 years; siblings Valdilia Borjas, Rumaldo Cedillo, Francisco Cedillo, Sophia Garza, Lupita Cedillo, and Salena Cedillo.
Visitation for Mr. Cedillo will be Thursday, June 29th, 10 a.m.-6:00 pm., with a rosary at 6, in the chapel of Fredericksburg Funeral Home.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday June 30th, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Graveside services and interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Methodist Hill Country Hospice, Golden Hub (Meals on Wheels), St Mary's Loving Care or the charity of your choice.
