Tillie T. Rivera, 87, a resident of Barstow for 54 years, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2005 at her Barstow residence. She was born May 5, 1917 in New Mexico. She worked all her life as a homemaker, raising and loving her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Rivera; and daughters, Grace Villars and Reina Rivera. Survivors include her daughters, Nellie Sanchez and her husband Mike and Cindy Dmytrusz and her husband James; sons, Robert Rivera and his wife Sandra and Jimmy Alcaraz and his wife Laura; niece, Jane Tucker; son-in-law, Jerry Villars; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-children, three great-great-grandchildren. Rosary will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 505 E. Mountain View. Funeral Mass will follow at 11 a.m. also at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will be at Mountain View Memorial Park, 37067 Irwin Road.
