Larry Lee Moomau of Brentwood, MD passed away June 20, 2023. Larry was the son of the late Guy Thomas Moore and Lucille Constantine Fix.
He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife Alice Moomau, sister Debbie, brother Gary, children Scottie (Trina), Ricky (Stephanie), Tammy, Misty, and a daughter-in-law Tammie. He also leaves many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, Jerry, Terry, Marianne, and his son Troy.
Larry had a long-standing and fulfilling career as a firearms instructor. He trained police departments, private security professionals and civilians. He enjoyed league bowling for many years, travelling to the casino in Atlantic City, and card games with family and friends. He had a great sense of humor that often lifted the spirits of those in his presence, especially during difficult times. He could always find light in a dark time. Those who knew and loved Larry will truly miss him.
A visitation will be held at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A. 4739 Baltimore Ave., Hyattsville, MD, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at Gasch's Funeral Home, P.A. 4739 Baltimore Ave. Hyattsville, MD Thursday June 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. the interment will be immediately after the service at For Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 Bladensburg Rd., Brentwood, MD 20722.
