Funeral Mass will be celebrated for KURT DOUGLAS HARMON, 69, at 10am Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Saint Rose Catholic Church with Father Ray Moss officiating. Kurt passed away peacefully at his home on June 20, 2023 surrounded by his family. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the family to be decided on later. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30pm Friday at the church. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com.

Kurt was born August 6, 1953 to Beenie and Veldron Harmon in McCook, Nebraska. Kurt retired from BNSF Railway after forty-three years of service in the Signal Department. In 1978 he met his best friend and love of his life, Patty, who he married April 28, 1979. They went on to have three children; John, Benjamin and Caitlin.

Kurt enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, baseball and golf. He had a passion for coaching and mentorship. Kurt also loved creating art.

Kurt was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Jennifer and twin sister Karen. He is survived by his wife Patty; children John (Missy), Ben and Caitlin; grandchildren Abbie, Evan and Ali; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A lunch will follow services at the Bucking Horse Grill.
