Felicia Bell "Honey" Anderson went home to be with the Lord and Savior on Resurrection Sunday, March 23, 2008, after many long years of suffering from the ill effects of Lupus.

Determination was one of her greatest attributes. She persevered to achieve her goals.

She graduated from Green Run High School in 1984. She obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Norfolk State University in 1994, where she developed a deep appreciation and love for the band and became a member of the Spartan Legion.

Upon graduation, she continued her love affair with the Norfolk State Band by serving as the secretary of the Alumni Band.

Felicia is survived by her husband, Quinton Anderson and one son, Quinton T. Anderson, age 7, of Chesapeake; her parents, Rufus S. and E. Marie Bell of Virginia Beach; one brother, Christopher J. Bell (Charlene) of Suffolk; and grandmother, Dorothy S. Bell. Her immediate aunts and uncles are Veronica Frazier (William), Cheryl Ferguson (Craig), Dorothy Evans (Charles), all of Portsmouth and Jacalyn Humphrey (Berti) of San Diego.

Felicia's homegoing will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in St. John's AME Church, 545 E. Bute St., Norfolk by the Rev. John D. Burton, Pastor. Interment will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. Hale Funeral Services is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to the Quinton T. Anderson Scholarship Fund at 4900 Fishbrooke Court, Virginia Beach, VA 23464 in memory of Felicia.

Felicia was the ultimate kind, loving and generous wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She was a cheerleader of life. Her presence in our lives will be sorely missed but her influence felt forever.
